EDITORIAL/CHAIRMAN’S COMMENT - Dr Graham McLennan.

"To aspire to leadership Is an honourable ambition." 1 Timothy 3:1

The National Alliance For Christian Leadership, NACL, is an informal transdenominational affiliation of Christian organisations, Churches, Citizens groups, and individual Christian leaders who are interested and involved in the protection and preservation of Australia's Judeo-Christian heritage, and the social and political freedoms that have emanated from that heritage.

The alliance serves as a national framework for groups and individuals to interrelate and interact on an Australia wide basis, and provides a national forum for the various bodies to meet together on a regular basis to share insights and address vital issues.

As a national affiliation the National Alliance for Christian Leadership receives considerable input from a wide spectrum of groups and organisations throughout Australia, and on this basis it is well able to discern, evaluate and pursue matters deemed to be of major relevance to the Christian faith, and the broader Australian community.

In this regard the alliance has played a strategic role in the struggle against the discredited Bill of Rights, the Australia Card, and the Constitutional referendum, and was one of the principle facilitators of the NATIONAL GATHERING of Christians in Canberra to commemorate the historic opening of the new Parliament House.

The National Alliance For Christian Leadership, also sponsors the NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF CHRISTIAN LEADERS, conducted annually in the National Capital, Canberra. This annual gathering provides Christian and community leaders with a national forum to address issues of significance, and to share their respective interests and involvements. The assembly has served a vital role in uniting Christian leaders, groups and individuals on a nationwide basis.

The alliance is further involved in a range of other activities having a national focus, and together with affiliated organisations conducts Leadership Training seminars and other courses directed towards the promotion and preservation of Australia's Christian heritage.
